Get Excited! We now have a coffee shop in North Baton Rouge that won’t have you ARRESTED!
The Southern Grind Cofe shop, located directly off of Southern University’s Campus, is a newly opened coffee shop is affectionately planted in the heart of Scotlandville. The Cofe is more than just a coffee shop. The Cofe isn't just coffee shop, but a cultural hub for artists, creatives, urban planners, entrepreneurs, progressives and positive thinkers alike.
The Southern Grind is also safe space. Imagine Scotlandville high school students walking home from school and on their way stopping by the neighborhood coffee shop! Our students now have a spot to do homework, read a book, draw in their sketchpad, or just grab a smoothie instead of a soft drink.
